Strength Training

As a longtime cross-fitter, I definitely find that strength training is a key part of staying healthy, fit and injury-free.

My coach, Matt Dixon of purplepatch Fitness, calls strength training as one of the “Pillars of Training.” I couldn’t agree more. Through resistance training, we can achieve balance, stability and strength in both our every day lives and in our chosen sport (mine, at this time being triathlon!).
